Nicholas's debut novel, The Unwrapping, will be published by Provoco in October 2025. Set against the backdrop of Egypt's fifth cholera pandemic in 1900, this satirical work explores the human condition during times of crisis.

His short fiction has appeared in Northern Life Magazine and Pen to Print, where four stories have been featured: "Legend of the White Hanky," "A Life Changing Revelation," "Fantasy Beast of Evolution," and "A Trade-Off For A Forgotten Fact." Nicholas is currently developing his first short story collection, with fifteen completed pieces.

Published Works

Beyond his forthcoming debut, Nicholas has independently published three novels: two works of climate fiction and a novel exploring his Mauritian heritage. His handmade artist's book, Matchbox Brothers, is held in the permanent collection of the British Library.

Critical Writing

Nicholas's literary criticism includes a published critique of Ocean Vuong's On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous, available on Compulsive Reader.
